Ever wish there was one day reserved to celebrate your female friendships? Well let us at Al’s Florist be the first to tell you – there is. It’s called Galentine’s Day, and you can thank NBC’s Parks and Recreation for it. In 2010, the show’s main character Leslie Knope takes all of her ladies out to lunch to celebrate their relationship, giving each special presents. The idea caught on in real life, and now groups of women celebrate Galentine’s on February 13th. We here at Al’s Florist are here for it – especially the gift-giving.
